The most common problem people face when starting an business online is “Information Overload” and this can truly test the desire that someone has to succeed online.

If you have been out there absorbing every piece of information, buying every information product you can get your hands on and feel like you are being overloaded with information to the point where you are about to explode  then I want you to take a deep breath and just relax it’s natural it’s normal and everyone goes through this.

Well today I want you to step back and re-focus on the big picture and forget all of the details about internet marketing for the moment, forget PPC, forget SEO, forget facebook, twitter, blogs and all of that stuff because at the end of the day these are all just things they aren’t your business.

“At The End Of The Day It Is Your Business That Makes You Money Not These Things”

Here is a very simple, rock solid 3 step business model that all of the big dog’s in this industry use:

Step 1 – Build A List.

Step 2 – Build A Relationship With The People On Your List.

Step 3 – Provide Valuable Solutions To Your List. ( Like Your MLM )

Now you have the 3 steps when you take a step back and have a look at the bigger picture you come to realize that your only required to know how to do 2 things which means that you can do away with all of the rest.

Requirement # 1 – Traffic from one source.

Now to be getting traffic from several different sources would be great but you REALLY only NEED to get traffic from one source so if you are just starting out you only need to learn how to generate traffic from one source.

So you need to decide which source you want to start learning how to generate traffic from based on what you are most interested in now this could be blogging, SEO, articles, videos, PPC, social media all of these work absolutely great but the point is that you have to pick one that you are passionate about that fits your personality and you have a real interest in.

So make that decision TODAY and then forget about the rest, from this time on you are going to master this one source of traffic and you are going to block out all of the rest until you can literally can write a book on the subject because there is no use being a jack of all trades and a master of none.

By trying to master everything at once you will only go back into the “Information Overload” stage.

Requirement # 2 – Learn Copywriting.

Now you can have all of the traffic in the world but if you can’t communicate your message to people effectively or persuasively then you are never ever going to get anywhere. You know it’s learning how to write effective ad copy that is going to get people to click on your ads or to take the action that you want them to take whether that’s putting their details into your capture page, reading your emails or even buying a product or service off you but most importantly it is going to allow you to build a relationship with your list so they will come to know, like and trust you which is the 3 critical components that are needed for them to become customers of yours and buy from you or join your company.

Now once you have built this relationship and you know how to share your knowledge, opinions and your VALUE in an interesting and persuasive manor you will now have the ability to make money, sponsor distributors and sell your products with the click of a mouse.

They are the only two skills you need to in order to generate infinite leads, distributors and customers that is all that is required so relax take a deep breath and focus on those two things, now that should have just cut your work load in half.

“A Great Piece Of Advice”

To help you simplify your business and help you get through this “information overload” phase you are in right now I want to share with you this one strategy that I do everyday that will put everything into perspective, I call it:

“My Daily 5”

It’s very simple all I do is before I go to bed at night I write out a list of 5 tasks for me to do tomorrow to move my business forward.

This gives me a clear list of tasks that I am accountable for from the moment I wake up and it helps me to stay ultra focused on what needs to be done for the day to build my business over time.

Building a business is a bit like building a house, brick by brick or task by task. It’s not how fast you start it’s how strong you finish.

Now I am very discipline with this, I don’t go stuffing around on facebook or twitter or even check my emails, I finish my daily 5 first and foremost.

Now I hope this has taken a bit of weight off your shoulders and given you some clarity on what to focus on because believe me everyone goes through the “Information Overload” stage it’s how you come out of the end of it that matters, A fighter Or a quitter.
